Intro to Mold Making - Making One Part Plaster Mold

Step by step how to instructions for making a one part mold using plaster (gypsum). In this demo, a wheel thrown pottery bowl with no undercuts is used as the model. We will show setting up cottles, using mold release, calculating plaster volume and mixing, pouring, and refining the completed mold.
